WPGroups is a public list of WhatsApp group invite links. You can browse by topic, country, and language. If a link still works, you can open it on WhatsApp. I do not run those chats. I only keep the public invite card so people can find groups.
Who runs this
This site is run by RipoN Sahaji. I live in Kolkata, India. I write, make videos, and build small web tools. There is no fake office photo and no big company behind the name. If something on this site is wrong, it is my name on the Contact page.
I am a blogger, YouTuber, and developer. I like to explain how a tool actually works, not hide it behind marketing talk. WPGroups is one of those tools: a directory you can search, not a chat app.
How WPGroups started
I started in this niche in 2013 on a free Blogspot.com site. People used it, so in 2014 I pointed a free domain, WPGroups.tk, at that site. The directory grew fast. In 2017 I moved it to WPGroups.net.
For a long stretch we were the first place many people looked for public WhatsApp group links. The collection covered groups from a lot of countries, not just one language or one topic.
In 2020 the old sites went down for personal reasons. I left the niche for a while. In 2026 I opened this new site on WPGroups.io and started again, with clearer rules, a report form, and invite checks that mark dead links.
The old .tk and .net sites are not this site. Listings you see here were added on WPGroups.io. I am not WhatsApp or Meta, and I never was.
What this site does
A WhatsApp invite is a normal web link. Before you join, WhatsApp already shows a group name, a short text, and a photo. We save that public preview so you can decide if the group looks right for you.
- Find family-safe groups by topic, country, and language. We do not list adult or porn groups.
- Open an invite on WhatsApp when the listing is still marked Active.
- Send a public invite if you are allowed to share it.
- Report a dead, fake, or harmful listing.
- Ask us to take a listing down.
How a listing gets on the site
Someone pastes a chat.whatsapp.com link. The site asks WhatsApp for the public preview. If a group name is visible, we can make a listing. Guest links wait for review. I can publish staff submissions myself.
We guess the category, country, and language from the public title and text, then we check that guess. Later, an automatic check looks at the invite again. If WhatsApp no longer shows the group, we mark it Inactive or Full and hide Join. That label is about the link, not about the people in the chat.
Want your group listed? Use Add Group and follow the publisher rules.
What I will not pretend
- This is not WhatsApp and not a Meta partner.
- I do not create groups, pick admins, or read chat messages.
- A working check today does not mean the link will work tonight.
- Verified means I looked at the public preview. It does not mean the group is safe.
- I do not stand behind jobs, money tips, or dating offers you see after you join.
Safety
Joining a group of strangers has risk. Do not pay anyone you met only in the chat. Do not share bank details, ID photos, or WhatsApp codes. Leave if the room turns ugly. Use WhatsApp’s own report tool for what happens after you join. Use Report on this site when the listing itself is the problem.
This directory does not list adult or pornography groups. Those links are refused. Sexual content involving children is banned and may be reported. I also take down scam and phishing listings when I can confirm them.
The site may show ads or paid listings so it can stay free. An ad next to a group does not mean I checked that group.
